This pin depicts the Brandywine Flag, which was one of the first flags with a stars and stripes design. It was carried by the 7th Pennsylvania Regiment during the Battle of Brandywine on September 11, 1777. It was under the American command of General George Washington and the British command of General Sir William Howe. More troops fought in this Revolutionary battle than any other engagement, and after the Battle of Monmouth, was the second longest single day, lasting eleven hours.

The pin is red with 7 stripes of white and thirteen white stars. It measures about 1 1/4" in each direction. It comes in the original packaging and sealed bag.
