This item is a hand-painted porcelain poppy brooch, likely dating from the late Victorian or early Edwardian era (late 1800s to early 1900s), as demonstrated by the C clasp. These vintage pieces are popular collectibles. 2" tall by slightly over 1.75" at its widest. Note: on some of the later pictures I used something to diffuse the light, as the glossy finish of the porcelain did not show the brooch without a glare.
