Melody is one of the friends of Kelly, Barbie's little sister (who was later rebranded as Chelsea). This specific version features her in a wizard persona with the following details:A purple gown with gold star and crescent moon patterns, accented by a gold waist tie and a gold panel down the front. Melody also wears a matching tall, pointed wizard hat with the same celestial pattern, and purple shoes.

Her character's lore describes her as having the nickname "Magic," with a secret talent for casting spells and hobbies like mixing potions.
