Vintage Monogram "EMT" Brooch with Marcasites

Here is an old fashioned vintage brooch set with marcasites and the initials EMT.. It is an excellent example of these initial pins which were so popular in the late 19th-early 20th century. It would also be a unique gift for a first responder !

The brooch measures just slightly under 2" across. It is near perfect on the front, on the back there is a miniscule amount of metal loss. A tangible touch to a bygone era.
